A former reality TV star-turned-aspiring politician is shaking up the race for mayor of Los Angeles and giving glory to God in the process.
Spencer Pratt, best known for starring in the reality TV series “The Hills,” remains in a tight battle with Councilmember Nithya Raman to decide who will face off against incumbent LA Mayor Karen Bass in November.
With nearly zero political experience, Pratt, 42, grew his political base shortly after the devastating Palisades Fire in January 2025 that destroyed his property and more than 5,400 other homes in an upscale beachfront neighborhood of Southern California.
As Pratt awaits the results of an extended ballot recount from the June 2 mayoral primary, he’s also spoken publicly about his Christian faith and how it has changed his marriage and his career aspirations.
