Former “Malcolm in the Middle” star, professional stock car racing driver and outspoken Christian Frankie Muniz, has announced that he and his wife, Paige, have agreed to divorce after six years of marriage.

Muniz, who got married in October 2019 and has a 5-year-old son with his wife, announced in a statement on X last Wednesday that he and his wife have been separated for an undisclosed period and decided to make the separation permanent.

“Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” Muniz, who had been in a relationship with Paige since 2016, revealed.

“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents. We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared. I’m endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family,” he said.

The former Hollywood star praised his wife for supporting him as he chased his dreams and said they would continue working on their racing brand and lifestyle platform, Muniz Racing, together.

“She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter. That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had,” he explained.

“We’re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son. Thank you for the love and support. We both choose to not entertain any questions on this matter. Please respect our family’s privacy during this time.”

Days later, Paige referenced John 8:7 from the Bible when she stated on Instagram, “he who is without sin, cast the first stone.”

Last September, the 40-year-old star declared on social media that he’s “proud” to “live for Jesus Christ.”

In January 2025, he posted an Instagram video of himself listening to the worship song “Build My Life” by Pat Barrett, followed by a shot of him being pulled over by a police car.

“Hilarious contrast of feeling good praising God, to being pissed off in the matter of minutes,” he wrote. “All part of His plan so you have to trust the good and the bad.”
