When it comes to the war in Ukraine, opinions are split. Former President Donald Trump believes the conflict should end quickly, while others insist Ukraine must win to reclaim its lost territory. But what does “winning” really mean, and is it even possible? On one side, Ukraine faces mounting challenges as it tries to hold onto hope and land. On the other, Russia seems set on keeping the fertile territories it has seized. As Christians, we’re reminded to “count the cost” in all things, including how we pray for peace and justice. Are we willing to trust God’s wisdom, even when the path forward seems uncertain?
